This set, issued by Brooklyn-based National Licorice and also with various bread brands and blank backed, features 25 athletes and swimmers. The artwork was taken from T218, a commonplace occurrence with some candy and bakery issues of the pre-World War I era. The set is complete at 25 cards; nearly half the set is offered here, a dozen different in blank backed format. The athletes include: A.B. Shaw, Joseph Ballard, Fred Bellars, Robert Cloughen, Ed J. Cook, Harry E. Gissing, A.C. Gilbert, John Flanagan, Joe Ruddy, Ralph Rose, F.C. Irons, C.D. Trubenback. Grades range from EX to PRFR averaging GD
