The Exhibit Supply Company issued its football cards and its 1950s boxing and baseball cards in blank backed format, except for a brief run of postcard-backed cardmaking one year in the early 1950s. All of the postcard-backed football cards are considered short prints and are quite difficult to find. The cards offered for sale here have Mutoscope imprints [an Exhibit rival that Exhibit had acquired in the late 1940s on the backs, which may indicate that the cards were meant to be used in existing Mutoscope dispensers in place of discontinued Mutoscope products.
