The irony of integration was that it destroyed the Negro Leagues as viable leagues. The teams that hung on into the 1960s went back to barnstorming and conducting baseball shows and circuses rather than serious games. The Indianapolis Clowns, best known for producing Hank Aaron, were one such team. Offered here is a very difficult to find ticket from a 1965 Indianapolis Clowns game in Kingston, New York. The ticket depicts first baseman Nature Boy Williams with an oversized glove and bat.
