This issue was from the precursor of SSPC. It contains 78 numbered cards plus four checklists. Offered here are 60 of the player cards plus four checklists. In 1968, Mike Aronstein started Sports Cards For Collectors (SCFC) - a forerunner TCMA, Ltd. (The Card Memorabilia Associates, Limited). Among his first sets were line drawings of famous major league baseball players measuring approximately 3-1/2" by 4-1/4". The art was by Myron Aronstein or Margie Aronstein. The first 36 cards were issued in 1968 with the rest in 1969, either blank back or with a 1968 copyright stamp. The rest have statistics on back. In addition, there were 4 checklist cards making 82 cards in the entire issue. Numerous Hall of Fame members and popular players are included. Cards are crease free with little to no corner wear.
