Offered in this lot is a fantastic vintage photo of a young jockey atop his racehorse on June 22, 1934. The top quarter of the photo shows a scene from the race blended into the photo with the horse firmly in the lead ahead of several other horses. Written on the mount is the date, June 22 1934, the jockey's name (Greg Ormont), the owner's name (H. Friedberg), the trainer's name (J.H. Tervis), and what appears to be the race location (Dayton, O.). This photo measures 13 1/2" x 11 1/2". The mount shows minor wear with pinholes in the two lower corners.
